Services & Capabilities
Emapta's offer is organised by engagement model rather than by process tower, with function-specific practices sitting on top.
- Dedicated staffing: The core product. Clients recruit through Emapta into full-time roles that work only for them, inside Emapta's offices and security perimeter. Outsource Accelerator's directory quotes the pricing principle as what we quote is what you pay, a direct contrast to the bundled per-seat pricing of traditional contact-centre BPOs.
- Enterprise solutions: Larger, managed programmes for corporate clients. The enterprise page says Emapta aims to move beyond transactional outsourcing relationships and that AI readiness is critical, which is why it ensures its teams are AI-ready.
- Workforce migration, skilled workforce deployment and advisory: Moving existing teams offshore, placing individual specialists, and advising on workforce design. These lines turn the staffing business into a consulting entry point.
- Recruitment: In an October 2025 interview, the CEO described a 150+ team talent acquisition division and 120+ recruiters who specialise by industry and role type, and said its talent network connects to over 300,000 pre-vetted professionals and attracts 125,000 new applications every month. The volume of applications is the firm's real raw material, since dedicated staffing stands or falls on how fast it can fill roles.
Finance and accounting: This is the most developed vertical practice. The accounting page offers certified talent, including CPAs, CAs, controllers and analysts, and training on NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB and Caseware. It cites client results of 56% faster month-end closes, 52% faster invoice processing time and 34% faster accounts receivable cycles. In April 2026 its global head of finance and accounting operations, John Raffaele, was announced as a speaker at the AICPA CFO Conference 2026 on the future of the AI-driven finance workforce, which shows that it wants the practice seen by US accounting leaders, not only by Australian firms.
Measured outcomes: The accounting page also cites faster financial closes with an 8-10 day improvement. These are the company's own client figures, not audited results, but they show it selling on process outcomes in a line where buyers usually compare only hourly cost.
Platform view: The platform record lists service lines across back-office data entry, digital marketing, finance and accounting, insurance services, sales and lead generation, technical support and outbound voice.
Specialist versus commodity: Most of the portfolio, administrative support, data entry and customer service, is commodity work that many Manila providers sell. The differentiation lies in professional roles, notably accounting, mortgage operations and IT, where the client's alternative is expensive onshore hiring and where Emapta's training and recruitment depth matter more than its seat price.
Client Base & Market Position
Client base: Emapta's client counts have risen quickly. In October 2025 the CEO described a firm serving over 1,000 clients across 30 countries; by July 2026 the company cited more than 1,200 businesses worldwide, and in August 2026 it referred to 1,300 clients. Outsource Accelerator's older directory profile cites 900+ clients, which places the earlier base in context. IT Park Uzbekistan's July 2026 account of a meeting with the company said its clients include companies from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Concentration: With more than a thousand clients, many of them small and mid-sized, Emapta's revenue is spread thinly across accounts. That lowers the risk of any single loss, but it also means the business depends on a constant flow of new small accounts and on referral selling: the directory profile says referrals have driven over 50% of its growth.
Named clients: The company publishes several named relationships.
- American Financial Network: A US mortgage lender that scaled from 3 to 150 business professionals in nine months through Emapta, according to an April 2026 release; AFN credited the team with a 300 percent increase in loan fundings. The partnership won an American Business Award, selected from more than 3,600 nominations.
- More Telecom: An Australian telecoms provider whose operations manager says it grew from a handful of staff to a team of 365 across multiple departments.
- Positive Group: Its CEO says the Philippines now makes up 30% of its workforce.
- Ncontracts, Nom Media and Hall Chadwick: Testimonials on its enterprise and accounting pages, the last from an Australian accounting firm.
Verticals: The client roster is weighted towards accounting and advisory firms, mortgage and financial services, telecoms and real estate. The platform record lists financial services and banking, media and entertainment, and technology and SaaS as its main verticals. The accounting emphasis, with named Australian firms and a US conference presence, shows the firm selling offshore professional hiring as a capacity answer for its clients rather than only a cost one.
Competition: Emapta competes with other dedicated-staffing specialists such as Cloudstaff, Remote Staff and MyOutDesk, with Solvo in the nearshore segment, and with the staffing arms of larger BPOs. Its senior talent flows confirm the set: the platform records departures to Solvo and MyOutDesk and arrivals from Transcom and Offshore Talent. Against smaller rivals, its advantages are scale, multi-country delivery and certifications; against large BPOs, its transparent pricing and client control.
Delivery Infrastructure & Operations
Philippine core: The service-locations page lists offices across the main outsourcing hubs, including 16 in the Philippines. They run across Metro Manila, in Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, Quezon City and Muntinlupa, and into regional cities: Angeles City in Pampanga, Baguio, Cebu and Davao. The provincial sites matter because they give access to graduates outside the most competitive Manila labour market. In September 2026 local press covered Emapta recruiting for international roles in Clark, Pampanga.
International hubs: The data-security page lists Colombia with 3 delivery centers, and the service-locations page lists offices in Bogotá and Santo Domingo, Colombo in Sri Lanka, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City and Skopje in North Macedonia, with further hubs in India. Sales offices sit in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. The platform record lists delivery locations across 13 markets, from Australia and Colombia to Vietnam. The non-Philippine sites add time-zone and language coverage for US and European clients, but they remain small next to the Philippine base.
Expansion: In July 2026 the company opened its sixteenth Philippine location, at SM North EDSA, which it called its twenty-fourth talent hub worldwide. The same month, IT Park Uzbekistan reported that Emapta's founder discussed possibly opening an operational center in Uzbekistan, and that its operational network spans Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Infrastructure and security: The data-security page says its network links 16 Philippine offices and four global locations through two redundant data centers, and that each site features 100% power backup. In August 2026 it launched an IT Command Center combining the Network Operations Center, Security Operations Center and Remote Desktop Support, operating 24/7/365, with a less than one-minute average incident response time. The company cites ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications and SOC 2 Type 1 attestation, and its data-security page lists GDPR, HIPAA and PCI standards. The platform record lists GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001 and SOC 2. For dedicated-staffing clients, who put their own systems and data in the provider's offices, this infrastructure is the main thing they buy beyond the people.
Hiring: The platform tracks 37 open roles at Emapta. The platform rates its hiring velocity as Minimal. Recent postings include an AU tax assistant manager in Pampanga, a NetSuite financial controller in the National Capital Region, a privacy operations administrator in Skopje, a sales representative in Bogotá, an RPO business development role in Argentina and an administrative role in Coimbatore, India. The mix, Australian tax roles in the Philippines, sales in Latin America and privacy work in Europe, mirrors the client and hub structure described above.
Ownership, Financials & Scale
Ownership: Emapta is privately held, according to the platform record, and is led by its founder, Tim Vorbach, who IT Park Uzbekistan described in July 2026 as Founder and CEO of Emapta.
Financials: No company-published revenue figure was found.
Scale over time: The company's own figures trace the growth. It said in July 2026 that since 2020 it had grown from approximately 6,500 employees to more than 13,000, and from 500-plus clients to more than 1,200. IT Park's July 2026 article described a company founded in 2010 with more than 10,000 employees, and its October 2026 HR Asia release cites a workforce of more than 13,000 professionals. Outsource Accelerator's directory profile, written earlier, cites clients in over 30 countries and 14 years of consistent growth. Earlier records put the workforce at 10,000. The numbers are consistent with a firm that doubled in size over six years without acquisitions found in research.
B Corp status: Outsource Accelerator's directory describes Emapta as a B-Corp certified company that stands out for its commitment to team member welfare, and the company's own releases describe it as a certified B Corporation. Certification commits it to published standards on governance, workers and community, which is unusual among Philippine staffing providers and supports its employer-brand positioning.
Commitment to the Philippines: Announcing the SM North EDSA site in July 2026, the company said its expanded presence in Greater Manila reinforces its long-term investment in the Philippines. That statement matters because the international hubs could otherwise be read as a gradual shift of capacity away from Manila; the company's own framing is that they add to the Philippine base rather than replace it.
Growth model: Growth has come from three sources visible in the record: new offices in the Philippines, new hubs abroad, and referral-led client acquisition. The model is capital-light per client but office-intensive overall, since each dedicated team needs seats, network and security. The two redundant data centers and the IT Command Center are investments that a founder-owned firm has funded alongside office expansion.
Pricing as strategy: The company's pages promise savings of up to 70% on labor and overhead costs in the Philippines. That message wins small and mid-sized clients, but the move towards AI-ready talent and advisory is an attempt to sell on capability rather than on savings alone.
Overall, Emapta is a founder-owned, fast-growing staffing platform whose scale now matches mid-sized Philippine BPOs, with a governance profile, B Corp certification and certified security stack that larger enterprise buyers increasingly require.
People, Leadership & Culture
Leadership: Tim Vorbach is Chief Executive Officer of Emapta, and the leadership page describes him as founder and CEO for over 15 years. The executive team is broad for a firm of its size and draws heavily on large BPO and technology groups:
- Christina Snyder: Global Chief Growth Officer and U.S. President, who leads the American business.
- Craig Buckley: Chief Operating Officer, with more than 25 years in large-scale CX operations.
- Maneesh Garg: Global Chief Financial Officer, with more than 20 years at Everise, Genpact, Aegis, Minacs and Datamatics.
- Henry Vassall Jones: Chief Information Officer, with 15 years of IT experience, who leads the IT Command Center.
- Kim Minor: Chief Marketing Officer, with a track record at IBM, Tableau, DataRobot and the Cleveland Clinic.
- Azee Shaikh: Managing Director of Emapta Labs, with 24 years at QBE Insurance, SYKES, Cognizant and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
- Natalie Davies: Chief People and Customer Officer, with more than 25 years of leadership experience in Australia and the Philippines.
- Tim Smith: ANZ business development, with more than 35 years in the BPO sector, including Salmat and Fujifilm.
The hiring of executives from Genpact, Cognizant, SYKES and IBM shows a founder-led company building the management bench of an enterprise provider. Long-serving insiders remain, such as Joy Rosales, whom the leadership page describes as part of Emapta's journey since its earliest days.
Talent movement: Over 24 months the platform recorded 6 senior arrivals at Emapta, from Transcom, Deel, Eclaro, Offshore Talent and Ubiquity. Over 24 months the platform recorded 4 senior departures, going to Solvo, MyOutDesk and Peoplegig. More senior people joined than left, and the departures went to direct dedicated-staffing rivals.
Retention and employer brand: In October 2026 HR Asia named Emapta one of its Best Companies to Work For in Asia for the fifth consecutive year, and the company cited a 98% monthly retention rate. In 2026 it was also named one of the Top 15 Asian Inspiring Workplaces, recognised for Best Workplace Culture in the HR Icons Awards and for Most Innovative Culture in the WorkLife Awards. In the October 2025 interview the CEO said it ranked 13th in JobStreet's Employee Job Happiness Index. Nina Avecilla, who leads people and culture, said that being recognised by HR Asia for five years in a row reflects the consistency of how people experience the company every day. For a dedicated-staffing model, retention is the product: a client who loses a trained team member bears the rehiring cost.
Learning and inclusion: Emapta Academy offers over 80 courses, and the CEO said it had delivered nearly 1,000 classes to more than 10,000 attendees in a year. Its RISE programme aims to employ 1,000+ disadvantaged people, focused on persons with disabilities.
Technology & Innovation
Emapta's technology position has three layers: secure infrastructure for client teams, AI training for its workforce, and a recruitment platform.
Infrastructure: The IT Command Center, launched in August 2026, unifies network, security and desktop support for its 1,300 clients and 13,000 employees, and the data-security page says its IT security solutions are built on the ITIL framework. This is less an innovation than a precondition for winning regulated clients in mortgage, accounting and healthcare, which need evidence of controls such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2.
AI-ready workforce: In January 2026 the company unveiled an AI course curriculum offering clients an AI-ready workforce. The accounting page says AI-enabled talent is trained in Emapta Academy to standards such as US GAAP. The approach treats AI as a skill its staff bring to client work rather than as a product the firm sells. That fits the dedicated-staffing model, where the client owns the process, but it also means Emapta captures little of the productivity gain directly.
Talent platform: The CEO described a talent network connecting to over 300,000 pre-vetted professionals, and the company markets the Emapta Talent Marketplace as an AI-driven way to match clients with that pool. The leadership page also lists a vice president of product management and a managing director of Emapta Labs, which shows the firm building an internal product function rather than relying only on third-party tools.
Product team: The leadership page shows the firm building product capability. Azee Shaikh, who runs Emapta Labs, holds a PhD in enterprise transformation, and Pasindu Withanage, vice president of product management, brings over 14 years of experience across product leadership. A labs unit and a product chief are unusual in a dedicated-staffing firm and point to an ambition to package some of its services as software-assisted offers rather than headcount alone.
Recognition: In February 2026 Emapta was awarded for excellence in business-to-business services innovation in the Stevie Awards for Asia-Pacific.
Assessment: Emapta's technology is mostly enabling: security, IT operations, recruitment and training. Its product investments, the Talent Marketplace and Emapta Labs, are early. The risk for a dedicated-staffing provider is that clients' own AI adoption reduces the number of offshore roles they need; the opportunity is that the same clients need staff able to run AI-assisted processes, which is the gap the curriculum and Academy target.
Strategic Assessment
Strengths
- Fast, broad growth: Headcount rose from approximately 6,500 in 2020 to more than 13,000, and clients from 500-plus to more than 1,200, giving it scale comparable to mid-sized Philippine BPOs.
- Retention and employer brand: A 98% monthly retention rate and five consecutive HR Asia awards support the continuity that dedicated-staffing clients pay for.
- Certified infrastructure: ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2, two redundant data centers and a round-the-clock IT Command Center meet the requirements of mortgage, accounting and healthcare clients.
- Professional-role depth: A finance and accounting practice with CPAs and training on NetSuite, Xero and MYOB, plus results such as AFN's scale-up to 150 professionals, lift it above commodity staffing.
Risks and Vulnerabilities
- Philippine concentration: 16 of its locations are in the Philippines, and the international hubs remain small, so most capacity depends on one labour market.
- Many small clients: More than a thousand accounts and referral-led growth create a high sales and onboarding load and exposure to small-business cycles.
- Cost-led positioning: Marketing of up to 70% savings anchors buyers on price, which sits awkwardly with the push into advisory and AI-ready talent.
- AI substitution: Administrative and data-entry roles are among those clients can automate, which could shrink seat demand from existing accounts.
- Competitive talent pull: Senior departures to Solvo and MyOutDesk show rivals recruiting from its bench.
Opportunities
- Nearshore and new hubs: Colombia, North Macedonia and a possible Uzbekistan centre let it serve US and European clients across time zones.
- US mid-market: The American Business Award for the AFN partnership and a US president give it a reference base for mortgage and financial services buyers.
- AI-skilled talent: Emapta Academy's courses and the AI curriculum position it to supply staff who run AI-assisted processes.
- Enterprise buyers: B Corp status and its certification stack support moves into larger, compliance-sensitive accounts.
Outlook
The company's own stated priorities are consistent across its 2026 releases: AI-ready talent through Emapta Academy and its curriculum, continued investment in the Philippines alongside new hubs, and stronger security and IT operations through the IT Command Center. Its exploration of an Uzbekistan centre and its sixteenth Philippine site show both halves of that strategy at once. The test for the next phase is whether the advisory and AI-ready message lifts the mix of professional roles, such as accounting and mortgage operations, faster than automation reduces demand for administrative seats.
