With this, companies can surely look forward to this year’s edition of the Outsourcing Summit.
OS2020 recap: The North American edition
The Outsourcing Summit 2020 aimed to reintroduce outsourcing to the North American market. This is important in building trust over small businesses and encouraging them to delegate their services offshore.
This edition brought to light the basic outsourcing questions such as:
- Getting up to 70% savings on costs while improving business processes
- Having access to a globalized talent and tapping the experience of the Philippine outsourcing market
- Busting common misconceptions and avoiding disappointments
Aside from this, one of the summit’s goals was to generate 100 outsourcing jobs for 100 clients who decided to sign up for the summit – all within the entire eight hours of the event.
Participants in the summit got the opportunity to try outsourcing in action through free trials on virtual assistant services. Discounts were also given to select entrepreneurs who want to connect to an outsourcing partner during the event.
What’s more? The event helped connect clients to these outsourcing players and eradicate the misconceptions the market has about outsourcing.

The OS2020 gave its participants a superb experience into behind the scenes of the outsourcing industry through:
Live facility tours
Derek Gallimore, Outsource Accelerator CEO and OS2020 host, spearheaded the live facility tours within three world-class outsourcing facilities around Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
CEOs, managers, and select workers of outsourcing companies were as well interviewed about their operations, different pricing models, and the challenge the industry faced during the new normal.
Panel discussions and open forums
Panel discussions brought together industry experts, CEOs, and government institutions in talking about the future of outsourcing, the latest data and case studies, and deconstructing the misconceptions about the industry.
The panel consisted of:
- Leaders from HIMAP, GDAP, Index Asia, and DTI;
