Qualifications and skills

  • Proficiency in various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat
  • Strong writing and visual content creation skills, including graphic design, video editing, and copywriting
  • Ability to use social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, social media management software) to track and analyze performance
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles to optimize social media content for discoverability
  • Knowledge of social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads) and experience in running paid campaigns
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with the online community and collaborating with team members.
  • A creative mindset to come up with innovative content ideas and campaigns that capture the audience’s attention
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple social media accounts and campaigns simultaneously

Educational requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is often preferred but not always required. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
