Marc Benioff, marketing, sales, service, commerce, and information technology (IT) firm Salesforce’s chief executive officer (CEO) is apparently calling out employees’ productivity over Slack.
“How do we increase the productivity of our employees at salesforce?” allegedly posted on the team communication platform.
“Is this a reflection of our office policy?” further asked.
Salesforce, one of San Francisco’s most prominent employers has been very open and adaptable to remote work. But it seems Benioff has some doubts about employees’ productivity while working remotely.
Recently, Salesforce top management is experiencing some shake up with its co-CEO Bret Taylor, Slack CEO Stewart Butterfield and Seattle-based Tableau CEO Mark Taylor announcing their exits from the firm. Salesforce’s chief product officer Tamar Yehoshua and senior vice president of marketing and communications Jonathan Prince also announced their departures around this time.
