Infomate (Pvt) Ltd is a business process management and outsourcing company based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, specialising in finance and accounting services. Founded in 2005 as a wholly owned subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC, Sri Lanka’s largest listed conglomerate, it began as the group’s internal shared services centre and describes itself as the first shared services centre in Sri Lanka.

Finance and accounting is the company’s core service. Its teams manage high-volume transactional work such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting, along with bookkeeping, management accounting and analysis, and management information reporting. The company specialises in accounting processes on ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.

Infomate also provides back-office support through data entry and image annotation specialists, administrative assistants and SAP experts, customer help-desk and sales support services including call centres, credit and identity checks and lead generation, and HR outsourcing and payroll services. A business excellence practice supports process improvement, and the company says it applies automation and AI to improve efficiency.

The company reports more than 600 staff, operations running 24/7/365 across three facilities, more than 150 clients in over ten countries and around eight million transactions processed each year. Infomate states that it is ISO 27001 certified and was recognised in Everest Group’s 2025 Finance and Accounting Outsourcing Services PEAK Matrix, the first Sri Lankan-origin BPO to be included. It cites cost savings of up to 50% and reports that more than half of its workforce is female. Its client base spans more than 20 industries, including manufacturing, real estate, agriculture, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, financial services, retail, telecommunications, professional services and IT.
