Appricot IT Consultants is a Dubai-based software development and technology consulting company that builds digital products for businesses and supplies engineering talent through team augmentation. The company was founded in 2017 and works with clients from early-stage entrepreneurs to established businesses that want to design, build and scale web, mobile and enterprise software.
The company organizes its work into three areas. Product engineering covers building a client’s product on a range of technology stacks. Business engineering focuses on automating business processes and operations to reduce manual work. Team engineering supplies skilled engineers and scalable, requirement-based teams to strengthen a client’s existing staff.
Its development services include web development and custom web applications, mobile app development, UI/UX and product design, quality assurance, and cloud and cybersecurity services. Appricot IT Consultants also offers AI, machine learning, augmented and virtual reality work, and blockchain development. The company describes itself as an Odoo partner and works with CRM, ERP and e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, WooCommerce, PHP and WordPress. It also handles API integration, graphic and animation design, and software customization.
For clients at an early stage, the company offers prototyping and MVP development, allowing them to test an idea before committing to a full build, followed by customized product development. Its product design practice covers proofs of concept, user interface and user experience design, wireframes and prototyping, and web design. The company says it takes a personalized approach, meeting with each client to understand its needs and then developing a custom plan.
According to its website, Appricot IT Consultants has more than 15 years of experience, more than 200 developers and engineers, over 70 successful projects and more than 40 clients. These figures are company-reported, and the stated years of experience appear to include experience from before the company was founded in 2017.
The company suits startups and small to mid-sized businesses that need an outsourced development partner for MVPs, e-commerce or ERP builds, or that want to add engineers to an in-house team on a flexible basis.
