Prople is an IT company that specializes in providing business solutions remotely. Operating from the Philippines, they offer businesses the ability to outsource many of their admin duties, including payroll, taxes, accounting, human resources, and data management.

Their name comes from the combination of Process and People. According to their website, it means “PROCESS and PEOPLE, powered by TECHNOLOGY.” Its goal was to create a service for businesses that would help to add value and reduce costs.

The headquarters of Prople is in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. Prople began its life in 1996 as Motivation Asia. At the time, they were a company that performed services such as loyalty reward programs and processing medical claims.

It wasn’t until 2006, when their current shareholders purchased them, that they began to make the turn towards a payroll company. In 2007 they officially relaunched their company with the name Prople. This relaunch came with a new suite of services. Not only did they offer payroll, but they also offered a whole host of financial and accounting services.

Since then, Prople has continued to expand its operation, with offices in the United States and partnerships with some of the largest corporate companies, including healthcare service providers and tax software companies.

Prople offers four branches of services:

• Finance and Accounting Services – Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Accounting and Strategic Finance
• Tax Services – Consulting, Tax Returns, and Financial Statements
• Human Resource Services – Payroll, Timekeeping, Statutory Compliance, Benefits Management, Employee Records, HR Information Systems, and HR Reporting
• Data management Services – Data Capture, Organization, Clean-up, Standardization, and Data Mining.

Prople continues to be a small company that focuses on business accounts meaning there is little by means of reviews from consumers. Employees of the company have said it is a good starter company to work for but not to expect to move very care far up in your career with Prople.
