The company has been in operation for roughly 20 years. MEV positions itself as a software product development and staff augmentation partner for enterprise and mid-market clients, offering both dedicated project delivery and embedded engineering talent so clients can extend their in-house teams while retaining control of priorities and delivery.
What MEV offers its clients
- Product Engineering — software product development from concept to launch, legacy software modernization/repair, and turning early-stage concepts into production-ready applications.
- Run & Operate — ongoing application maintenance and support, plus DevOps and cloud operations.
- AI Engineering — AI development services and agentic AI orchestration.
- Audit & Due Diligence — M&A technical due diligence, pre-deal software audits, and software health checks.
- Flexible Staffing — augmented staff embedded directly into a client's team, development pods (dedicated cross-functional teams), end-to-end project delivery, and a fractional CTO service.
How MEV outshines the competition
MEV describes itself as a deliberately small, senior-heavy team rather than a large offshore bench, stating "our small, slightly boring engineering team delivers what teams of hundreds sometimes can't" and citing that 97% of its 100+ engineers are senior or mid-level. It offers low-commitment entry points (a paid Software Health Check audit and a Discovery Sprint) for clients who want to evaluate the team before a full engagement, and frames its culture around "honesty & transparency" and a "no BS" working style.
